This site and all kaiju sites out there in cyberspace simply would not
be possible without the creation of Godzilla and all his many
foes.....so above all others, I wish to thank Toho Co., Ltd. for
continuing the Godzilla magic throughout the end of time , (Thank you

Meaning of Godzilla " and I hope you have enjoyed your stay. Come

Hello
my name is Barney and I am from Trenton ,NJ lived in New York for
about 13 years and now resided in N.C As for what I like , I like
music that has a hard background like Boston, Def Leppard , Van Halen
, Firehouse , Aldo Nova , White Lion , White Snake etc .... and yes my
other hobbies or interest are my 2000 Chevy SS Camaro and yes
Godzilla.
HOW IT
GOT STARTED
Let me
start by saying something about this original site , I created that
site because like many Godzilla websites out there I am a very big
Godzilla fan. How it all started, well lets just say that about 3
years ago I got my first computer a Gateway , I was excited about
getting it so I can surf the net for all kinds of neat stuff ,
especially Godzilla websites and Titanic , I am a big Titanic buff
too, well my wife's son came up to me one day and said since you like
Godzilla so much why don't you make a Godzilla website , the thought
never crossed my mind because I did not know jack about building a
website , that is a little different now , so I said to myself what
the heck , so I started to figure all the website goodies out ,
believe me some days there was a lot of misunderstanding about this
whole website thing , but I made it through to this day.
I
also wanted to create a friendly site with a welcoming environment,
where people of all ages and all levels of "Godzilla knowledge" could
come and feel comfortable gathering information and looking at
graphics . I have found in life, that it may be a difficult search at
times, but you can actually find at least one nice thing to say about
most anything, and that it is too easy to spread venom and hostility.
I hope you will find my pages polite, informative and fun.....
I
basically like to work with photographs so I decided to download
Paint shop Pro 6 and 7 I used it for a while, but it had it's limits ,
until I got Photoshop 6, I was hooked on it , now I just purchased
Paintshop 7 I want to tell you now I use both of them together to
create pictures that no one has on the net that consist of Godzilla.}
I like
to say is that as time progress and a lot of changes I went on to do
a lot of changing and redesigning my website , there was a point where
I was going to give up on doing websites for a while, I was going to
shut my site down because I wasn't satisfied with the layouts and
looks of my site, until I got FrontPage 2002, to do, The Godzilla
Shrine . And so I worked on it and still working on it to this day,
Another
thing I like to say is that this site is not strictly on Godzilla and
his enemies and anything affiliated with Godzilla it is a huge kaiju
related site, and the second thing is that there is a huge amount of
text items within this site most of the text items are reference from
my books, these are for the readers in us all. Just so you understand
where they came from.
Part 2
of my story
Well as
alot of you Godzilla fans out there know , I owned and still own
The
Godzilla Shrine one of the most popular Godzilla sites out
there , not bragging I did have however within 5 years ,over 275,000
hits , before shutting its doors due to the lost of all my html files
of the site , The one thing that made me shut the site down is my
computer was reinstalled without knowing ,that the disc I burned with
my website on it ,was incomplete it had no html pages just pictures,
well needless to say after several times of reinstalling windows, then
turn around and upload a 400 meg site that would take me up to three
days to upload
and about a week to straiten it out , ,I am a little irritate,
and also (this is funny) my
webhost was complaining that my site was getting to big for its
britches lol, with all the money I pay these guys they have alot of
gall to tell me this , but I am not mad , well they said I need to
downsize my site by getting rid of some none essential pages that have
no popularity ,well that and being that Godzilla is coming to an end (so
The Toho company says , we will see) ,
Godzilla is going to retire so I will lay down my sword for a while
until things happen again, if they do at all , I will be back
someday , we will have to see what the future brings , and another
reason why I am moving on is because I am going to create another
website .so
I decided to build this website with alot of science fiction and
horror and mystery , these are the things that interest me , like the
hulk , Witchblade , Pitt , Jason , Gamera , Godzilla , of course ,
Hellraiser Star Trek and Star Wars , and Alien Artwork , Titanic , New
Jersey Devil ,The Bermuda Triangle and so much more, I am doing this
to form a new alliance in the sci fi world to see how well this site
will do , well that's it for now I have work on the mansion (website)
later people.
